Top Trends in Wireless Technology and Communication 2017 #Infographic #Wireless

Communication has been the basis of our civilization. Cave drawings from a million years ago tell us that there exists a primitive human need to convey thought, opinion and emotion. Now, we text, tweet, BBM, Snapchat, and Google… From cave etchings to Twitter, it’s been a fantastic journey. Homing pigeons and marathon men gave way the first telephone and radio, hailing the new era of communication technology that is our world.

Wireless communication, of course, is technology’s most ingenious contribution to humanity. In 1999, when the first wireless compatible devices began to be built, it was an exclusive niche market, but it evolved rapidly into mainstream life -an indispensable part of everyday business. Mobile devices like GPS units and phones have assisted communication from the remotest places on Earth and even space.

Smartphones and wireless devices that double-up as computer systems have aided sharing texts, photos, business-ideas, and work files; and they have clearly improved the productivity of workspaces. Increased internet speeds have made it possible to upload information on ‘virtual clouds,’ from any part of the world, increasing efficiency and introducing new ways of performing many different business tasks. In fact, the world today boasts of 700 million Wi-Fi connected internet users and around 800 million new devices being added every year. We’ve never been more ‘connected.’
