Industrial robots are definitely a hot topic at the moment, as sales don’t stop to increase each year and as more and more factories choose to invest in robotics, to the great discontent of human workers.
As a matter of fact, a lot of people tend to be worried by those robots: will they steal my job? Will I be replaced by a machine? According to some, they will.
With this infographic, TradeMachines tried to address this unemployment issue in a different way, by taking the example of the Industrial Revolution. 200 years, jobs drastically changed and many were left on the sidelines. However, we now remember this time as a period of unprecedented progress during which living standards improved at an unseen level.

For this reason, one can already realize the benefits of robots on companies, as they raise productivity, encourages employment and local economies, and provide a way safer workplace.
